Our Founder
Emma Valerio, founder of Unidas Por Una Infancia Feliz, has over 30 years of hands-on childcare experience, both as a professional nanny and as a proud mother of four wonderful children.
She is a Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and certified in Early Childhood Education (ECE). She is also certified on Basic Life Support (BLS), both as an instructor and provider.
Her passion for childcare and commitment to the well-being of families led her to create this initiative, whose purpose is to transform children's lives through exceptional love and care.
Our Nannies
Our nannies have a variety of certifications including CPR/First Aid, Background Checks, etc.
Many of our nannies are members of our Unidas Por Una Infancia Feliz organization.

Our nannies train with our comprehensive program, Unidas Por Una Infancia Feliz, designed to enhance their caregiving skills and knowledge. Our training equips nannies with the tools necessary to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
2. Vetted
As a professional nanny agency, ensuring the safety and trustworthiness of every caregiver we recommend is our highest priority. Thorough background checks and information verification are essential steps in our screening process.
3. Family Match
Our matching system involves carefully assessing the needs, values, and expectations of each family—such as preferred schedule, child age range, parenting style, and any special requirements. We then match these criteria with the skills, experience, and personality of our vetted nannies.
